JS and I just pulled off the road a few times to take some pictures. This spot was about 15 miles north of our hotel, just past an isolated house where some dude tried to sell us pot from his driveway.

I used the gaussian blur on the image, to give it that glow-y look, but those colors are just the way all of Maui looked.

A few years ago I spent a long weekend in Tybee Island, GA. There were these long expanses of empty beach with nothing but blackened driftwood on the sand.

It may be hard to read the sign, but it does, in fact, reveal that the owner of this fine restaurant is Nobody (methinks someone liked The Odyssey). I took this picture over 3 years ago on my cross country drive from Alabama to San Diego. One of the greatest moves of my life, I have to say.

I took this behind my house tonight. It’s not that unusual of a sight, actually. At sunset there are dozens of surfers on the water. Not because the waves are good, but because of the peace and beauty of the water at this time of day.

Hotel View 2, originally uploaded by WonderSpot.

When I went to Hawaii a few years ago, I stayed at Waikiki with 2 of my cousins. This was the view from our hotel room.

I don’t think that JS and I will get as good of a view when we go to Maui in 1 FREAKING WEEK, but that’s OK, cause the hotel in this picture was OK, but it was no Westin!
